This unique community created by Naturbana Properties is one with which Sustainable Solutions is particularly excited and proud to be involved. Literally located on the edge of the Abbotsford's Horn Creek Park, this development demonstrates a value set that is evident throughout this carefully crafted community, including:
- participation in the 1% for the planet program; they are donating $500. per home in the community to environmental stewardship programs
- donating 1.5 acres of their 3 acre land parcel back as forest land
- designing with high energy standards and sustainability
How can you not want to be involved with a community like this?
Naturbana partnered with Kerkoff Construction, Portico Design and CHP Architects to ensure that their urban design connects with nature to offer a more meaningful home ownership opportunity.
Design that is attentive to function, style, the environment, and the future is evident in every home. Unlike some 'cookie cutter' designs, the Natura on Forest's Edge community houses 73 homes that feature 23 different floor plans. So, homeowners are living in unique spaces.
Bright, well thought out kitchens include energy saving appliances, oversize white subway tiles, and fluid large nested kitchen sinks and dual function, pull down kitchen faucets. They form the heart of these beautiful homes.
Bathrooms feature fluid Citi faucets and shower systems, (not pictured), Caroma one piece dual-flush HET toilets, fluid Switch retrofit shower bars and generous Cube II undermount basins. All of the features blend together to create a welcoming retreat.
Living is a meaningful experience at Natura.
